DIGITAL STORIES
The digital storytelling project, conducted through the Signal Centers’ Assistive Technology Center, was created to give the opportunity for people with disabilities to share their story.  These stories depict how they have overcome obstacles and challenges with the assistance of technology.  Tennessee’s  DHS Rehabilitation Services has played a vital role in all of their lives to help transition through the stages of their lives with technology to reach their goals and see their dreams come true.

These stories come from artists, students, entrepreneurs, and professionals.  They speak of hope and challenge, barriers and successes.

Each story is a “mini-biography” from their own, personal perspective of how technology has been essential to them throughout life’s transitions.
Hear our stories.  See our lives.

A spinoff from the Digital Stories project  is the video resume
project.  Although similar to a digital story, the video resumes are focused more on career and less on biographical information.
